“Rebuild Action” Test (restructuring effect)

• Sample: bleached Caucasian hair strand, wet and towel-dried.

• Procedure:

1. 0.3 g of shampoo, 1 min massage, rinse.
2. 0.6 g of conditioner, 4 min leave, rinse.
3. 0.15 g of serum, massaged for 30 sec.
4. Natural drying.

“Thermoprotective Action” Test (heat protection)

• Sample: 3 strands of virgin Caucasian hair.

• Procedure:

1. 0.3 g of shampoo, 1 min massage, rinse.
2. 0.6 g of conditioner, 4 min leave, rinse.
3. 0.15 g of serum, massaged for 30 sec.
4. Flat iron exposure: 4 sets of 20 passes, 3 sec at 230°C.

Cyclic fatigue test

• Objective: measure resistance to breakage after treatment with shampoo, conditioner, and serum.
• Result: hair treated with regenerating shampoo, conditioner, and thermo-protective serum resisted more break cycles than untreated hair.

Thermal protection test (DSC)

• Parameter: protein denaturation temperature.
• Result: hair treated with Rebuild products showed a higher denaturation temperature than untreated strands, confirming greater structural integrity and protection against heat.
