"One Earth". International Environment Day 2023 is celebrated today

There is one planet Earth. One, and it is not inexhaustible. We must care for it and not exploit it. We must defend it because we are not the owners of it, but the hosts who have a duty to leave it in trust for future generations. This assumption, in addition to being the theme of World Environment Day 2023, now in its 50th year, is a summary of the motivations that drive a company like ours to support this day, sharing its values and commitment to promoting values of sustainability and respectful use of natural resources. Today's date is not coincidental. It coincides with the United Nations Conference on the Environment, held on June 5 and 6, 1972, in Stockholm with the aim of raising awareness of the effects of human activities on ecosystems and, therefore, to identify new development models capable of protecting it. On the same occasion, the official Declaration containing the 26 principles relating to the rights of the environment and human responsibilities to safeguard it saw the light of day.

The environment is a serious issue, and everyone must do their part. At Insight Professional we talk about ethical cosmetic because we believe in the need to be committed to the environment and to promoting lifestyles that respect people and natural resources. For us, professional expertise must go hand in hand with a sensitive approach, combining technology and innovation with the ancient wisdom of the phytotherapeutic world inserted in an urban and modern context.

Effective, ecological and safe: our formulas do not contain SLS/SLES, mineral oils, petrolatum, silicones, parabens or synthetic dyes. A choice, this one, that stems from the desire to offer quality, natural and, above all, clean products. In Insight's ethical cosmetics, ingredients of natural origin and phyto-extracts of controlled origin find their place: the best of what nature and technology can offer, when used with awareness and respect. All our formulas contein ozonated water, which is microbiologically pure water because it is enriched with ozone, a molecule with oxidizing and disinfecting powers that does not release chemical residues.

Sustainability for Insight Professional is not a given forever, but a path of permanent updating. From 2013 to the present, we have worked hard to obtain a whole series of company and product certifications, achieved thanks to a constant desire to improve cosmetic formulas, optimize production processes and make the environmental impact of our activities ever smaller, to the point of bringing it to zero.
We are a Carbon Neutral certified company, which means zeroing or offsetting CO2 emissions. All products are Vegan OK certified, and some also have Eco Bio Cosmetics, Cosmos Natural or RSPO - Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil certification.

However, our commitment does not end there. Our packaging is made of 100% post-consumer recycled plastic and essential, meaning no cardboard cases. This choice, too, has allowed us to minimize CO2 emissions and use materials from renewable sources, differentiating and renewing the pack after using the product and, in fact, promoting that circular economy concept we are so fond of.

We know that this journey is not over, and therein lies our strength: being aware of the need for a momentous change in the way we produce, distribute and sell and equally aware that we have never reached the top. We are constantly working to improve even more, and the 2023-2024 biennium will allow us to add more important pieces to our mosaic of meaningful gestures that defend the environment, day by day and step by step. Everyone must do their part: for this reason, our wish is that World Environment Day will truly be everyone's day, today and in the years to come.
